Here we're starting to install distribution cables, selected for a higher than officially required size so as to reduce the voltage drop.

Although a larger initial outlay is incurred, the energy saving can be clearly shown to offer measurable payback in reduced energy demand.

This will also allow for future expansion and increased load. Multiple cables in parallel also render spare capacity in case of cable failure. Increased cables sizes reduce the impedance against triplen harmonics further.

Distribution boards, with sub-metering, double pole RCD circuits to minimise nuisance tripping on a TT supply with very complex earthing requirements. A lot to fit into this board!

Timing and photocell control for outside lighitng, complete with bluetooth link to smartphones to make timer programming easier.
